Matt Mello

Our teacher, “Mr. Matt” has been praised for his teaching skills by parents and experts alike.  His teaching style has been called "brilliant" by the co-founder of Music Together^®, Dr. Lili M. Levinowitz, and has influenced countless parents and children.  He has attained certification to teach both Music Together and Orff Schulwerk.

 

A life-long musician, performer and lover of music, Matt brings to the classroom not only his expertise but also his passion for pedagogy, which is readily apparent in a group or private classroom setting.

Matt also performs as a singer/pianist, and has over 2500 professional appearances to his credit in venues all over the world.  He has been training amateur and professional singer/pianists for over 10 years, and takes pride in every one of their successes.

 

Matt discovered his love of teaching music to children as his own three arrived and grew - sharing the love of music with his family has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
